Willem website assistant

When Willem is enabled, the assistant helps visitors with practical questions about Willemstraat Bike.

  • To produce an answer, your message, selected language, and up to eight recent conversation messages are processed.
  • The website sends this limited data to Google Gemini in a stateless request with developer logging disabled for that request. Under the applicable Google service terms, Google may still retain limited prompt and response content for abuse monitoring unless Google has approved Zero Data Retention for the production project.
  • Willemstraat Bike does not retain chat text by default. The conversation remains only in temporary browser memory and is cleared when the chat is closed or reset.
  • Security and rate limiting use a short-lived session and daily rotating HMAC-derived network identifiers. Raw IP addresses are not stored.
  • Technical metrics without message content use a strict 30-day cleanup cutoff. Content-free daily totals for requests, tokens, and estimated cost remain available throughout their UTC calendar month and are deleted by scheduled cleanup after the month closes and they reach the 30-day cutoff. Neither type of record contains questions, answers, or contact details.
  • Answers use public website data and, when separately approved, only sanitized and generalized staff guidance. Approved guidance that a person has redacted in advance may also be processed statelessly by Gemini during controlled maintenance. Raw emails are not shown to visitors, sent to Gemini, or stored in the answer index.
